Antonia's Lofaso invites you to explore her inner world by the food she cooks. Curiosity grew in her after she left the Long Island suburbs to explore the vast cultural diversity in Los Angeles. Her belief of the fact that cavatelli and carnitas can co-exist in harmony on a single menu reveals a taste that evolves constantly. However, what is consistent in all of her dishes is a singular vision towards the future that longingly remembers the previous. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became very well received. Lofaso has been praised by her fans for her rendition of traditional Italian dishes. Lofaso is described by many as a local restaurant that consistently serves dishes that are authentic, tasty and warm. Lofaso learned from culinary giants who used sophisticated techniques. However, she did not fear taking extraordinary risks in order to respect her own instincts. She worked closely with many stars and quickly rose up the ranks in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. Lofaso along with Sal Aurora partnered in 2011 to launch Black Market Liquor Bar Studio City. Lofaso's home was found in Black Market Liquor Bar and her business relationships. Lofaso could achieve the creative spirit she desired through her collaboration. Black Market is not constrained to a specific direction and that is the intention. The course could begin with potato chips dill Shishito chilies, and move on to an Korean food item called meatballs, and wings. The underlying ingredient in this dazzling assortment of flavours is Antonia. Lofaso has, over the course of her career, has judged her performance by the degree to which she knows her target audiences. She also stays authentic to her personality. She's been on of numerous television shows like Top Chef Chicago, Top Chef: All Stars and Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child on The Food Network and ABC's Real O'neals. Her talents continue to be recognized in her role as a judge on the CNBC's Restaurant Startup. Lofaso has teamed up together with Penguin at the end of 2012 in order to release The Busy Mother's Cookbook 100 recipes for Delicious home-cooked Meals. The book tells her story about the challenges she encountered while going to her first French Culinary Institute and raising her daughter Xea.
