The Garena's Garena premier league (GPL) was introduced in the month of May. The GPL is a pro online gaming event that lasts for six months and includes over 100 games. The first season of GPL is a League of Legends competition which has six teams of professional players. These teams represent top players from respective countries. In the month of January, Garena confirmed that it was launching the Garena Premier League's season two will begin on the 4th of January, 2013.
